How to Get Wheat Seeds in Palworld
Buy or collect the three Wheat Seeds needed to start a self-sustaining Wheat Plantation.
Buy Wheat Seeds from a Caravan Leader for the quickest start, or collect them from Pals that drop seeds. You need three Wheat Seeds to build one Wheat Plantation, and the completed plantation does not consume more seeds for later harvests.
Buy the first three seeds
Visit a merchant that lists Wheat Seeds and purchase one plantation's requirement. This removes random drop hunting and lets you begin Wheat production as soon as the Technology and building materials are ready.
Collect seeds from Pals
Several Grass-type and early-game Pals can drop Wheat Seeds. Defeat or capture them while exploring; capturing is useful when you still need the species capture bonus.
Build the Wheat Plantation
Unlock Wheat Plantation in the regular Technology tree, then gather three Wheat Seeds, Wood, and Stone. Assign Pals with Planting, Watering, and Gathering to automate the production cycle.
Seeds are a construction material
The plantation produces Wheat, not a renewable pile of Wheat Seeds. It continues operating after construction without more seeds, so extra seeds are mainly useful for building additional plantations.
Turn Wheat into Flour
