How to Get Honey in Palworld

Farm Honey from Beegarde and automate a stable Cake supply at the Ranch.

Assign Beegarde to a Ranch for the best repeatable Honey supply. You can also obtain Honey from Pals that drop it, but Ranch production is easier to automate and supports continuous Cake crafting.

Capture a Beegarde

Find and capture a Beegarde, then deploy it at a base with a Ranch. Beegarde has Farming suitability and can drop Honey while grazing. Make sure the Ranch has clear access and enough nearby storage.

Keep the Ranch working

Use the Monitoring Stand or work preferences to keep Beegarde on Farming when other jobs distract it. Assign a Transporting Pal so Honey moves into storage instead of remaining on the Ranch floor.

Get an emergency batch

Defeat or capture Honey-dropping Pals when you need a small amount before the Ranch is ready. This works for the first Cake, but repeated combat is less convenient than passive production.

Use Honey for Cake

Cake combines Honey with Flour, Milk, Eggs, and Red Berries. Put Cake in the Breeding Farm chest to keep an egg line running. The Wheat Seeds guide explains how to build the Wheat supply for Flour.

Avoid unnecessary storage tricks

Honey does not spoil, so it can remain in normal storage without a Cooler. Build a surplus before starting a large breeding project rather than waiting for one Ranch drop at a time.
