How to Stack Wheat Plantations in Palworld

Build a compact vertical Wheat farm with the current bench or pillow placement method.

Wheat Plantations can be stacked in the current building system by using small furniture as temporary supports. The method saves base space, but it is a placement technique rather than a special Wheat Plantation upgrade.

Prepare the stack

Unlock Wheat Plantation and gather the full materials for every layer. Add a small bench to Favorites for the early method. A thin pillow from later furniture unlocks can make the vertical gap smaller, but it is not required.

Use the bench method

Place several benches in a vertical stack, align a Wheat Plantation on the top support, then remove the highest bench. Place the next plantation where that support was and repeat downward until each planned layer is built.

Keep every layer reachable

Leave enough clearance for Planting, Watering, Gathering, and Transporting Pals. Watch one complete crop cycle after construction. If a Pal stays below a plot without working, increase the gap or rebuild the blocked layer.

Know what stacking changes

Stacking saves floor space; it does not automatically increase the yield of each plot or make one worker finish every layer at once. Gathering suitability, work speed, pathing, storage distance, and the number of active plantations still determine throughput.

Supply the build

Each plantation needs its own Wheat Seeds, Wood, and Stone. Use the Wheat Seeds guide before attempting a multi-layer stack, then connect the harvest to Flour and Cake production.
