Where to Find and Farm Sulfur in Palworld
Mine Sulfur safely for Gunpowder and ammunition without fictional quests, rewards, or tower gates.
Sulfur is a mineable resource used in Gunpowder and ammunition production. Natural deposits are commonly associated with hot and arid regions, so prepare for climate and enemy hazards before committing to a large haul.
Plan around fast travel
Use the Interactive Map to identify Sulfur nodes close to an unlocked travel point. A short route with several reachable deposits is usually more efficient than carrying a full mining load across an entire biome.
Bring heat protection and capacity
Equip climate protection appropriate to the route, bring a suitable pickaxe or Mining Pal, and reserve enough inventory capacity for the return trip. Repair equipment before leaving if the route crosses hostile territory.
Turn Sulfur into Gunpowder
Combine Sulfur with the other required material at the appropriate production station to make Gunpowder, then use that supply for ammunition recipes. Mining nodes does not grant Ancient Technology Points or a fixed quest reward.
No tower unlock is required
There is no “Suzaku Volcanic Ridge” tower mission. The volcanic tower fight is Axel and Orserk, and defeating it is not what makes ordinary Sulfur deposits mineable.
