Palworld 1.0 Tower Bosses in Story Order

Prepare for the nine real Tower Boss encounters from Zoe and Grizzbolt through Zenara and Astralym.

Palworld 1.0 has nine Tower Boss encounters in its full story progression. The real bosses are trainer-and-Pal pairs; Anubis, Suzaku, “Lily Queen,” “King Bahamut,” and “SakuraSaurus” are not Tower Boss names.

The nine encounters

1. Zoe Rayne and Grizzbolt — Rayne Syndicate Tower. 2. Lily Everhart and Lyleen — Free Pal Alliance Tower. 3. Axel Travers and Orserk — Eternal Pyre Tower. 4. Marcus Dryden and Faleris — PIDF Tower. 5. Victor Ashford and Shadowbeak — PAL Genetic Research Unit Tower. 6. Saya Kurosaki and Selyne — Moonflower Tower on Sakurajima. 7. Bjorn Seligsson and Bastigor — Feybreak Tower. 8. Auri and Shaolong — Azure Covenant Tower in Sunreach. 9. Zenara and Astralym — the final World Tree encounter.

Follow the Main Missions

The Main Mission chain provides the story route between towers and eventually the World Tree. Several earlier towers can be approached before their story step, while the late encounters depend on additional progression. Use the mission journal and the Interactive Map instead of assuming that each clear unlocks a circular “safe-zone ring.”

Prepare for a timed fight

Tower battles have a timer, so balance survivability with enough damage to finish. Bring repaired armor, a shield, suitable weapons, ammunition, food, and Pals that match the encounter. Adjust the party after learning the boss's attack pattern rather than following generic element advice for a different boss.

Tower bosses are not normal captures

Do not stock Pal Spheres for the normal tower arena: the trainer-and-Pal boss cannot be captured there through ordinary gameplay. Spheres may still matter for field exploration before or after the tower, but they are not part of the tower victory condition.

Separate points from materials

First clears award progression rewards, including Ancient Technology Points. Repeat clears and other modes have their own rewards, but invented fixed Skill Fruit bundles should not be presented as the normal reward for every tower. See the Ancient Technology Points guide for the repeatable manual route and the Ancient Civilization Parts guide for crafting materials.
