How to Get Predator Cores in Palworld
Find and defeat Predator Pals for the cores used in pouches, elixirs, and special weapons.
Predator Cores come from defeating Predator Pals. They cannot be crafted or bought from ordinary merchants, so you need a repeatable route of active Predator encounters.
Find Predator Pals
Predator Pals appear at marked encounter locations and are surrounded by a distinctive red aura. Use the Interactive Map to plan several locations near fast travel instead of waiting at one empty spawn.
Prepare for the fight
Predator variants are stronger than ordinary versions of the same Pal. Bring a team with an elemental advantage, repaired armor, a shield, ammunition, and enough healing to finish the fight without retreating.
Build a route
Clear several known locations in one circuit, then return after the encounters have refreshed. A long route gives earlier locations time to become available again and is more efficient than repeatedly reloading one point.
Spend cores on the right pouch
Predator Cores are used by upgraded pouches and other special recipes. Check the required tier before crafting because later pouches need more cores and Leather. The Small Pouch guide explains why duplicate pouches are not useful.
Keep a reserve
Do not spend the last core unless the craft is immediately useful. Elixirs and special weapons can compete with inventory upgrades for the same limited material.
