Is Palworld Crossplay?

Check which Palworld platforms can play together and what crossplay does not transfer.

Yes. Palworld supports cross-platform multiplayer across its current PC, Xbox, PlayStation 5, and Mac releases. Players must be on compatible current game versions and join the same type of multiplayer session.

Update every platform first

Crossplay can fail temporarily when one platform receives a patch before another. Confirm that every player has installed the latest available update, then restart the game before creating or joining the session.

Use the same multiplayer route

For a friend-hosted world, enable multiplayer, create the session, and share the current invite method shown by the game. The host must remain online because the world is stored with that host.

Crossplay is not cross-progression

Playing together does not automatically move a character, inventory, base, or world save between storefronts. Treat crossplay as network compatibility, not as a promise that one save follows your account to every platform.

Check player and session limits

Friend-hosted co-op and larger persistent multiplayer sessions have different player limits and joining flows. Choose the session type before a group invests heavily in one world.

Fix basic connection failures

If the join fails, update all clients, regenerate the session invite, verify multiplayer is enabled for that world, and check whether the platform network is experiencing an outage. Modded clients can also become incompatible with unmodified players.
